Last month I had a show at the University of North Carolina Asheville entitled I Carry You with Me. It was a series of eight dresses and four undergarments. The four newest dresses and four sets of undergarments focused on using sustainable textiles--recycling and collecting second hand linens--and hand-dyeing and screen-printing the fabrics.

Wooden Dress

Bringing two worlds together--that of the interior decorator and the woodworker--I am creating a dress of wood.

Tangible Memories

A project based upon making memories tangible. Through ceramic slip casting and text, these sculptures each tell their own story. Meant to be handled, carried, recycled, and hopefully made into a new story for each person who picks one up.
